Notice of Recruitment - The Magistrates
Commission of the Third Judicial District is seeking applications for
the position of Attorney Magistrate for Canyon County to replace Judge
Robert Taisey who will retire on July 6, 2012.

Judge Thomas J. Ryan has been elected as the Administrative
District Judge. He assumed those duties on Feb. 1, 2012 starting a
three-year term.
Appellate Public Defender Appointed to Third District Judgeship
Third Judicial District Judge Gregory M.
Culet announced he will retire effective December 31, 2011. Judge Culet
has served as an Idaho judge for over 31 years. He was originally
appointed to serve as a Magistrate Judge in Washington County commencing
June 1, 1980. He was appointed by Governor Dirk Kempthorne to serve as a
District Judge effective October 1, 2001. Upon his retirement, he will
continue to serve on a part-time basis as a senior judge as assigned by
the Idaho Supreme Court.
