Third Judicial District Judge Gregory M. Culet announced he will retire effective December 31, 2011. Judge Culet has served as an Idaho judge for over 31 years. He was originally appointed to serve as a Magistrate Judge in Washington County commencing June 1, 1980. He was appointed by Governor Dirk Kempthorne to serve as a District Judge effective October 1, 2001. Upon his retirement, he will continue to serve on a part-time basis as a senior judge as assigned by the Idaho Supreme Court.
