Functions of the GCMP
-Answer questions about G & C or direct inquiries to an appropriate authority.
-Answer questions about the complaint process. Review received complaints.
-Develop ongoing resources and training about G & C.
-Notify the judge when reporting concerns have been resolved and request that a hearing be vacated.
-Bring a case to the attention of the Guardian Ad Litem, attorneys, judge, and/or other relevant parties.
-Direct G & Cs to community resources that may be able to assist them with any needs they may have.
-Conduct monitoring home visits, scheduled by coordinator based on identified level of risk.
-File a home visit report to inform the Court of the current status and/or needs of the protected person.
-Collect, compile and analyze data relating to G & C in the Third District.
-Identify needs in the State of Idaho
relating to G & C.
-Identify, recruit and manage volunteers and students to assist in case monitoring functions.
