Administrative Order Amending 00-1: Reimbursement Guidelines for Court-Appointed Counsel and Public Defender Representation

Whereas, an Administrative Order was signed on July 8, 1998 establishing guidelines for the reimbursement of court-appointed counsel representation, and

Whereas, the existing guidelines do not cover juvenile cases or some common activities in misdemeanor cases,

Now, therefore, it is hereby ordered that reimbursement, where appropriate for court-appointed attorney and public defender representation, be ordered utilizing the following guidelines:

Misdemeanor and Juvenile Cases
Fees for each activity in the case. Fees are cumulative through case resolution:

Pretrial	$100
Pretrial with Disposition	$150
Status Conf. with Disposition	$200
Status Conf. without Disposition	$250
For Each Dispositive Motion	$100
Court Trial (1^st day)	$250
For Each Court Trial Day Thereafter	$200
Jury Trial (1^st day)	$500
For Each Jury Trial Day Thereafter	$300

Felony Cases
Fees for each activity in the case. Fees are cumulative through case resolution:

Preliminary Hearing	$100
Arraignment and Disposition	$200
For Each Dispositive Motion	$200
Pretrial	$250
Trial (1st day)	$500
For Each Trial Day Thereafter	$300
