Administrative Order 05-5: Establishment of County Misdemeanor Probation Fees

Whereas Idaho Code section 31-3201D provides that persons under probation supervision for a misdemeanor offense shall be required to pay a monthly supervision fee not to exceed thirty-five dollars ($35) per month as determined by the Administrative District Judge;

Now, therefore, it is hereby ordered that Administrative Order 2000-7 is hereby rescinded.

It is further ordered that defendants in Canyon County placed on supervised misdemeanor probation on or after October 1, 2005 shall pay a supervision fee of thirty-five dollars ($35) for the first month of probation and thirty dollars ($30) per month for the remainder of their supervised probation.

It is further ordered that the assigned judge may, for good cause shown, exempt a person from paying any part or all of the foregoing fee.
