Oversight of Pretrial Release and Misdemeanor Probation Services in Canyon County
Whereas, the
Pretrial Release/Misdemeanor Probation Department in Canyon County is
critically understaffed and lacks the resources necessary to properly
accomplish the responsibilities assigned to it, and
Whereas, the
Canyon County Juvenile Probation Department has a reputation for accomplishing
its mission in an efficient and professional manner, and
Whereas, Ronya
Hemenway, Chief Juvenile Probation Officer for Canyon County, is willing to
lend her administrative expertise to supervise the Pretrial Release/Misdemeanor
Probation Department,
Now, therefore, it
is hereby Ordered that the Pretrial
Release/Misdemeanor Probation Department is hereby placed under the
administrative supervision of the Chief Juvenile Probation Officer of the
Canyon County Juvenile Probation Department effective December 17, 2007.
