Administrative Order 10-8: Court Administrative Rule 27
Whereas,
Idaho Court Administrative Rule 27(h)(2) provides that the Administrative
District Judge may suspend the application of paragraphs (a) and (h)(1) Rule
27, I.C.A.R., and order the recording of any or all proceedings listed in
paragraph (a) to be by an electronic recording in accordance with paragraph (c)
as the official court record; and
Whereas,
there is a vacant court reporter position in this judicial district and there
are insufficient court reporter resources available to allow for the attendance
at all scheduled court proceedings;
Now,
Therefore, it is Hereby Ordered that the application of paragraphs (a) and (h)(1) of Idaho Court Administrative Rule 27 is suspended.
It
is Further Ordered that any court proceeding in the Third Judicial District not
attended by a court reporter shall be electronically recorded, indexed, and
stored in compliance with Rule 27(c), I.C.A.R.
It
is Further Ordered that electronic records made in accordance with this Order
shall become the official court record.
