Administrative Order 88-7: Destruction of Civil Records 1980-1982

The Idaho State Historical Society having notified the Court on July 20, 1988 that it has no interest in the civil records of the Third Judicial District for the period of January 1, 1980 to December 31, 1982,

It is hereby ordered that in accordance with the provisions of Idaho Court Administrative Rule #38, the Clerks of the District Courts of the counties of Adams, Canyon, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, and Washington may dispose of all civil records of proceedings completed in their respective counties during the period January 1, 1980 to December 31, 1982 by complying with the provisions of Civil Records Disposition Directive dated January 10, 1984; that all exhibits presented to the court in such cases and not reclaimed may be disposed of after a 30-day notice to the record owner or attorney who submitted such exhibits to the court; and that all clerks complete a Records Disposition Form as civil records are disposed of, retaining one copy for their files and forwarding one copy to the Trial Court Administrator.
