Administrative Order 91-5: Destruction of Civil Records 1983-1985

The Idaho State Historical Society having notified the Court on May 8, 1991 that it has no interest in the civil records of the Third Judicial District for the period of January 1, 1983 to December 31, 1985,

It is hereby ordered that in accordance with the provisions of Idaho Court Administrative Rule 37, the Clerks of the District Courts of the counties of Adams, Canyon, Gem, Owyhee, Payette, and Washington may dispose of all civil records of proceedings completed in their respective counties during the period of January 1, 1983 to December 31, 1985 by complying with the provisions of Civil Records Disposition Directive dated January 10, 1984; that all exhibits presented to the court in such cases and not reclaimed may be disposed of after a 30-day notice to the exhibit owner or attorney who submitted such exhibit(s) to the court; and that all clerks complete a Records Disposition Form as civil records are disposed of, retaining one copy for their files and forwarding one copy to the Trial Court Administrator.
