to Submit Applications for the Position of District Judge of the Third Judicial
District
The
Idaho Judicial Council is starting the process of selecting nominees to fill
the vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Gregory M. Culet,
effective December 31, 2011. The salary of a district judge is $112,043.00.
Notice
is hereby given that the Judicial Council is now accepting applications for the
position of District Judge of the Third Judicial District with chambers in
Canyon County, Idaho. Application forms are available on the Judicial Council
website at www.judicialcouncil.idaho.gov
and from James D. Carlson, Executive Director of the Judicial Council. You must use the Revised 3/15/2007 application form. The application form is available on
CD using WordPerfect or MS Word from the Judicial Council upon request. COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY
THE JUDICIAL COUNCIL NO LATER THAN 5:00 P.M., OCTOBER 31, 2011.

Immediately
following receipt of the applications, the Judicial Council will circulate a
questionnaire to the Bar via e-mail and to the general public concerning the
qualifications of the applicants and will notify each applicant of the time and
date for personal interviews. The Council is currently planning to meet in
December, 2011 or January, 2012 for interviews and selection of the nominees.
